Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of AFK Pilot. Using the service means you agree to them.

Effective 2026-08-31

The service

AFK Pilot is a relay and web client that lets you control coding agents — such as Grok Build, Muse Code, Codex and Claude Code — from a browser: agents running in your own editor through the AFK Pilot extension (previously Grok Build for VS Code), in Grok Build Desktop, or on an optional hosted cloud machine. You link a device with a one-time code (a cloud machine links itself), and messages are relayed between that device and your browser. We provide the connection and, where you enable it, the hosted machine; the agents, their subscriptions, and your workspace remain yours. The agents are products of their respective owners; AFK Pilot is an independent product.

Who you are contracting with

The service is provided by:

HURYN Sp. z o.o.
Hoża 29, 00-521 Warsaw, Poland
Tax ID (NIP): PL7011027727
National Court Register (KRS): 0000893173

Acceptable use

  • You may only link devices you own or are authorized to control.
  • You are responsible for what your agent does on your machine through the connection.
  • No abuse of the service, no attempts to break or overload the relay, and no unlawful use.
  • A cloud machine is for your own development work — no resale or bulk compute, no mining, and nothing unlawful.

Plans and limits

The Free plan includes a set allowance — currently one linked device and a weekly message cap, the week running to Tuesdays at 17:00 Europe/Warsaw. These limits may change with reasonable notice. Remote Max removes the device cap and the weekly message cap; a fair-use cap of 20 messages a minute applies on every plan. The current price is shown at checkout once you sign in.

Cloud machines (preview)

Paid plans may include access to a hosted cloud machine — a virtual machine we create for your account, currently offered as a preview. It is provided as is, with no service-level commitment and no durability guarantee. You are responsible for the machine's contents: for keeping copies or backups of anything you care about (for example by pushing code to your own repositories), for the credentials you place on it, and for what your agents do on it. We may rebuild, suspend, or reclaim cloud machines — for example when a preview ends, a subscription lapses, or maintenance requires it — and resetting or reclaiming a machine deletes its contents. Preview features may change or be withdrawn with reasonable notice.

Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Clerk and Stripe. You can cancel any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but it is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no service-level agreement on any plan, paid included, and we may perform maintenance or change features over time.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or that any output is correct, safe, or suitable for use.

You run the agents, and you are responsible for what they do. They read and write files and run commands on the machine you point them at — your computer or a cloud machine — with the permissions you grant. Review what they propose, keep backups of anything you value, and do not point them at work you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for code an agent writes, changes it makes, commands it runs, cost it incurs with your model provider, or anything it deletes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, for lost profits or business interruption, or for loss of data — including the contents of a cloud machine, which has no automatic backups. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where that is so, these limits apply as far as the law permits and your statutory rights are unaffected.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Unlinking a device is self-serve; to delete your account, email [email protected] and we will remove your account, device and cloud-machine records and destroy any cloud machine. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, or violation of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
